Nazarbayev University Health Services provides comprehensive primary healthcare and mental health resources, as well as a wide array of specialty services. We work to support students and employees in reaching their optimal health so that they can achieve their full academic and personal potential.
Primary health care
Primary health care—the most basic package of essential health services and products needed to prevent disease, promote health, and manage illness. Primary health care typically covers about 80 percent of a person’s health needs during their lifetime.
NU voluntary health insurance
Voluntary health insurance (VHI) is a health insurance program for students and staff (SHIP) that you can use in case of an emergency, in case of an acute primary illness, or in case of exacerbation of chronic disease.
