About our department

Our goal is to provide high quality health care and wellness services so that every NU community member has the opportunity to enjoy optimal health while pursuing their personal, academic, and career goals.

The primary objectives of UHD:
  • Provision and development of healthcare, medical assistance and health insurance services and related arrangements;
  • Organization of activities on occupational health and health insurance services in the University, including complex measures with the participation of divisions and organizations of the University;
  • Coordination and internal control over public health and health promotion activities;
  • Development and introduction of healthcare management systems, including implementation of measures on development and improvement of health service quality and communication;
  • Participation in planning and response to emergencies on the University campus together with other divisions and organizations of the University.
